This eBook ‘Frontiers in Clinical Drug Research — Alzheimer disorders — vol 8’ is edited by Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman, published on March 4, 2019

The book series, now in its eighth volume under the editorship of Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman is a collection of six reviews written by Alzheimer’s disease experts around the world (viz Turkey, Italy, Portugal, Romania, China and Egypt). The reviews in this volume cover information about new and current drugs used for Alzheimer’s disease therapy. These include general new drugs, antibiotics, antipsychotics as well as agents that target tau proteins. The volume concludes in a discussion of biological agents that can be used for prophylaxis against late onset neurodegeneration encountered in the disease.
The volume is essential reading for pharmacologists, clinicians and health care workers involved in pre-clinical and clinical research on Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis and therapy.
