ESMO Congress 2019 Translating science into better cancer patient care

Lugano, Switzerland, 23 July 2019 – Participants from all over the world are expected in Barcelona, Spain, between 27 September and 1 October to attend the leading international oncology event in Europe. The ESMO Congress 2019 (1) gathers professionals representing various oncology disciplines, healthcare decision makers, patient advocates, representatives from pharmaceutical companies, international media.

Don’t miss the opportunity to report on the latest research results which have the potential to change the practice of cancer care. More than 2’200 abstracts will be presented with 99 late-breaking abstracts expected.

The scientific programme (2) will span from basic research to immunotherapy of cancer, from oncology nursing to palliative care, from rare cancers to approval of medicines.

Media registration

ESMO welcomes media interested in reporting from the ESMO events and on cancer issues. Media representatives are required to observe and abide by the ESMO Media Policy, which applies to all ESMO events.

Please read the ESMO Media Policy to find out if you qualify for a Press badge. (4)

To register as a media representative for the event, please fill out the Complimentary Media Registration Form. (5) Media registration in advance is strongly recommended.

On-site staff will be ready to assist and facilitate your work.
