2018 NCRI Cancer Conference – the UK's largest cancer conference is only a few weeks away. It will take place from Sunday 4 to Tuesday 6 November in Glasgow, UK. Registration for bona fide journalists is free.
The Conference attracts more than 1,500 delegates and will include 500 presentations from national and international leaders in cancer research. Topics range from epidemiology and research in the lab, to clinical trials of new treatments, and quality of life studies.

The media programme will include new findings on e-cigarettes, melanoma mortality, sleep and breast cancer, prostate cancer and glioma.

Every session is open to journalists and registration is free of charge to journalists who are in possession of a valid, recognised press card. Freelance journalists must present a commissioning letter on headed paper from a recognised news organisation or publication. There will be a press office with internet connections onsite, run by media consultants, Kerry Noble and Emma Mason.
