SAN ANTONIO- Oct. 30, 2019 – The Association of Old Crows awarded Henry Sees, a director leading Southwest Research Institute’s office in Warner Robins, Georgia, the Anton D. “Tony” Brees Lifetime Service Award. The association selected Sees to receive its most prestigious award based on his outstanding contributions to the field of electronic warfare throughout his career.

Since earning his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Sees has spent his entire career working in defense and intelligence. At SwRI, he has worked on automatic test equipment for F-15 and other military aircraft as well as applications for special operations forces. He currently oversees the development of SPARTA (System Performance and Real Time Analysis), an advanced electronic countermeasures analysis tool suite.

“Henry has been supporting the nation’s and our allies’ electronic warfare (EW) activities since the 1970s at various organizations, including the U.S. Army,” said Nils Smith, vice president of SwRI’s Defense and Intelligent Solutions Division. “He has continued this work at the Institute and expanded our support for EW systems defending our nation against new and existing threats.”

“This is an honor I never expected to happen,” Sees said about the award. “It is extremely gratifying to be recognized by my peers for this work.”
