These innovations align synergistically with the “8C’s” model, facilitating dynamic monitoring and real-time responsiveness to individual risk profiles.

Importantly, the think tank acknowledges the socioeconomic and cultural determinants of health that influence Parkinson’s disease prevalence and prevention efficacy. Equity-focused initiatives to ensure accessibility and inclusivity are emphasized to overcome disparities in healthcare delivery and outcomes.

As the neuroscience community pivots towards prevention, this comprehensive framework serves as a catalyst for transformative change. Embracing the complexity of Parkinson’s disease pathophysiology, the 8C’s framework integrates biological, environmental, and psychosocial factors into a cohesive strategy designed to combat this neurodegenerative threat at its roots.
