Press registration now open for 2020 American Physical Society March Meeting

Largest physics meeting of the year to be held in Denver

COLLEGE PARK, MD – Denver will transform into the hub of physics next month as more than 10,000 attendees arrive for the 2020 APS March Meeting. The meeting will take place March 2-6, 2020 at the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver. Press registration is now open.

Press Registration

Complimentary registration is available to journalists for the express purpose of gathering and reporting news and information from the meeting. Staff reporters, freelance writers, and students are welcome to apply. Public information officers and institutional communicators are also welcome to attend the meeting. Registration provides access to the scientific meeting and exhibit hall. Short courses and some workshops may require additional registration and fee.

Preregistration is recommended to expedite the check-in process but is not required. Credentialed press may register for the meeting at no charge here. Note: If you are logging in for the first time since August 1, 2019, you will need to reset your password by clicking on “Forgot Your Password?”

Press releases highlighting noteworthy research to be presented at the meeting will be distributed in the coming weeks. Press conferences will be held on-site and live streamed.

APS has secured discounted rates for March Meeting attendees at a selection of Denver hotels. Experient is the only hotel provider endorsed by APS, and members of the media are encouraged to book through them early for the best selection and price. The last day to make a reservation at the discounted meeting rate is February 6, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. EST. Please book here.
