What is ILC 2018?

The International Liver Congress™ (ILC) is the annual EASL meeting, and the flagship event in EASL's educational calendar. Every year in April, scientific and medical experts from a broad range of fields including hepatology, gastroenterology, internal medicine, cell biology, transplant surgery, infectious diseases, microbiology and virology, pharmacology, pathology and radiology and imaging come together from around the world to learn about the latest in liver research. Specialists share recent data, present studies and findings, and discuss the hottest topics on liver disease.

The annual Congress attracts around 10,000 delegates from all over the world.

The conference covers the entire spectrum of hepatology and ground-breaking data will be presented at four official press conferences. There will be an on-site press centre and private rooms available for conducting interviews with key speakers and EASL Governing Board members.

More information on the press office and media activities at ILC 2018 can be found on the ILC 2018 website. The ILC 2018 press kit will be available on 4 April 2018.
