(University of Würzburg) It is considered the German equivalent of the Nobel Prize: the Leibniz Prize awarded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft comes with a €2.5 million cash prize. The 2017 laureates were announced today: Jörg Vogel, an RNA researcher and infection biologist from the University of Würzburg, is one of them.
