New Rochelle, NY, October 17, 2018 – Mary Ann Liebert, Inc., publishers announces the launch of Journal of Women’s Health Reports, a new peer-reviewed open access companion to the highly regarded Journal of Women’s Health. All articles in Journal of Women’s Health Reports will be published open access to ensure broad and rapid distribution and visibility of meaningful content. Inaugural articles will be published in January 2020.

Building on the success of Journal of Women’s Health, which has published exceptional research and clinical papers for nearly 30 years, Journal of Women’s Health Reports will provide a dedicated open access forum for authors across the globe. The Journal will publish peer-reviewed articles on a broad range of topics related to the optimal care for women from adolescence through late adulthood, with an emphasis on clinical papers, translational research, and health promotion and wellness. The Journal will be spearheaded by Editor-in-Chief Susan G. Kornstein, MD and Deputy Editor Robert W. Downs Jr., MD, Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine (Richmond, VA), who also lead the flagship journal.

Journal of Women’s Health Reports coverage will touch on specific disease states and conditions such as cardiovascular disease, menopause, ovarian and cervical cancer, breast cancer, pregnancy, lactation, and maternity considerations, reproductive and sexual health, infertility, depression and anxiety, autoimmune disorders; osteoporosis and bone health; nutrition; wellness; violence and abuse against women; and public health policy. All articles will be published under Creative Commons licenses.
