International Society for Autism Research (INSAR) Annual Meeting May 1-4 in Montreal

Leading autism scientists, students, and advocates from around the world to gather in Montreal to share latest findings and discoveries

The International Society for Autism Research (INSAR) 2019 Annual Meeting will bring together more than 2,000 researchers, clinicians, students, parents, and autism advocates from over 30 countries, Wednesday, May 1 through Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Palais des congrès de Montrèal (Montreal Convention Center) in Canada. The INSAR Annual Meeting is the world’s largest gathering of scientists and specialists as they exchange and disseminate the latest scientific discoveries and stimulate progress into the nature, causes, and treatments for autism spectrum disorder. A press conference will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 11:00 am EST that will focus on highlighted notable research.

The INSAR Annual Meeting will include presentation of oral papers, posters, technology demonstrations, and panel sessions. Recipients of the INSAR Advocate Award, INSAR Cultural Diversity Research Award, and INSAR Lifetime Achievement Award will also be announced.

Panel session topics include:

  • Genetic and Genomic Discovery in Autism: From SNPs, to Exomes and Genomes
  • Stem Cell Based Technologies in Autism Research
  • Drug Discovery and Development in Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Functional Genomic Profiling Studies of Autism Spectrum Disorder Brain
  • Innovative Outcome Measures Relevant to Autism Spectrum Disorder in Preclinical Models
  • Sleep, Circadian Neuroscience, and Autism across the Lifespan
  • Outcome Measures in Phase 2/3 Trials in Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Improving Access and Expanding the Reach of Clinical Care and Research in Autism Spectrum Disorder through Innovations in Remote Delivery Methods
