Hong Wang, a senior distinguished R&D scientist at the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Transportation Research Center (NTRC) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), has been inducted into the prestigious European Academy of Sciences and Arts. This academy, headquartered in Salzburg, Austria, honors individuals who have made exceptional contributions to science, arts, and governance, counting among its members internationally acclaimed scholars and Nobel laureates.

Wang’s research at ORNL centers on the forefront of connected and automated mobility systems, pushing the boundaries of intelligent transportation technologies.
