Agentic AI framework reaches 91.4% resolution success in cloud benchmarks

A tripartite agentic artificial intelligence framework achieved a mean resolution success rate of 91.4% across five cloud-computing benchmarks, outperforming rule-based control, a zero-shot large-language-model baseline and partial reinforcement learning, according to research accepted by Scientific Reports. The evaluation focused on managing the co-evolution of micro-frontend user interfaces and backend microservices in cloud-native environments, a setting complicated by semantic drift between interfaces and application programming interfaces, dynamic workloads and safe-deployment constraints. The framework combines three components: reinforcement-learning agents for adaptive runtime control, large-language-model synthesizers for automated artifact generation, and policy-as-code governors for enforcing security and compliance requirements.

Its co-evolution process is formulated as a drift-aware Markov decision process, while Kubernetes-native traffic shifting enables progressive rollout and rollback. Component-removal and counterfactual-return analyses indicated that adaptive control, artifact synthesis and policy enforcement each contributed complementary benefits to the system’s overall performance. Performance results were obtained from live Amazon Web Services Elastic Kubernetes Service, Google Kubernetes Engine and Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service clusters, while the KubeSim simulator was used for offline policy training.

Across the five benchmarks, the complete framework’s 91.4% mean resolution success rate exceeded 62.0% for rule-based control, 71.1% for the controlled zero-shot large-language-model baseline and 79.0% for partial reinforcement learning. The authors also reported an 80% reduction in normalized mean time to recovery, a 75% reduction in normalized change failure rate and a 30-percentage-point decrease in CPU utilization. Under the framework’s policy-enforcement regime, 98% of audits passed.

These measurements support the framework’s effectiveness, scalability and governability within the tested cloud-native enterprise systems. The scope is nevertheless bounded: results came from five benchmarks and three managed Kubernetes platforms, so the study does not establish equivalent performance across every enterprise environment, workload or deployment configuration. The research was published as an accepted early-access article in Scientific Reports in 2026 and was identified as remaining subject to further edits before the final version of record.
