UTokyo NY Conference to headline studies on deadly viruses, Alzheimer’s

Leading scientists from Japan in the fields of medical science and industrial science will speak at the UTokyo NY Conference in New York on Friday, November 3, 2017.

The UTokyo NY Conference is a meeting held annually to report on the progress of international research collaborations between the University of Tokyo and partner institutions, including the benefits these studies are bringing to improve the quality of people's lives around the world. The occasion also introduces challenges and ongoing initiatives that may lead to new opportunities. The 2017 event will highlight the research and advances of two projects, in talks titled, "Working with Deadly Viruses: Battling Ebola and Influenza" and "Prevent Alzheimer's: Tohoku Rejuvenation Project with the American Pecan Nuts."

The meeting, hosted by the UTokyo New York Office, is free of charge.
