IOF Skeletal Rare Disease Academy recognizes research excellence

The International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) Skeletal Rare Diseases (SRD) Academy has today presented awards to young investigators at the virtual World Congress on Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis, and Musculoskeletal Diseases, taking place from March 24 to 26, 2022.

The International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) Skeletal Rare Diseases (SRD) Academy has today presented awards to young investigators at the virtual World Congress on Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis, and Musculoskeletal Diseases, taking place from March 24 to 26, 2022. 

The following six young researchers have been awarded a certificate and grant/bursary of 1000 USD /500 USD in recognition of their outstanding abstracts related to rare disorders of the skeleton:

“The SRD Academy Awards represent IOF’s commitment to advancing research which will contribute to our knowledge of rare skeletal disorders and ultimately lead to advances in diagnosis and patient management. My sincere congratulations and thanks to all the awardees for their excellent contributions, which provide valuable new insights into the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and management of rare skeletal disorders.”
