The Howard University football team’s engagement in this initiative serves a dual purpose. Not only are the players gaining practical skills that could potentially save lives, but they are also promoting awareness surrounding cardiovascular health. Their involvement extended to participating in the American Heart Association’s National Walking Day, where they shared their experiences on social media platforms. Moreover, Larry Scott, the head football coach at Howard University, expressed gratitude to the American Heart Association for imparting this crucial training to his players.
