(University of Pittsburgh) The reluctance of American chemical manufacturers to update their technology has dulled the nation's competitive edge for decades; however, University of Pittsburgh's Götz Veser has two new research collaborations between academia and industry, backed by the US Department of Energy (DOE) and totaling nearly $10 million, to give American manufacturing a long overdue overhaul.
