The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) is pleased to announce the 2020 International Student Conference winners.

AIAA, in partnership with Lockheed Martin Corporation, sponsors the International Student Conference at AIAA SciTech Forum each year for student members at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The presenting students are the first-place finalists from all seven AIAA Regional Student Conferences from 2019. On 6 January, eighteen students presented their research papers related to the field of aeronautics and astronautics and were judged on technical content and clarity of communication by professional members from industry.

“These students are the future leaders of aerospace,” said Dan Dumbacher, AIAA executive director. “The AIAA SciTech Forum is a great venue for students to present their work, network with industry leaders, and exchange ideas about current topics in aerospace engineering. AIAA congratulates the winners and first-place finalists!”

Since 2018, Lockheed Martin Corporation’s generous donation to the AIAA Foundation has supported the International Student Conference and sponsored student attendees who presented their papers.
