This fundamental principle safeguards scholars’ autonomy to explore, question, and challenge the boundaries of established knowledge and assumptions within their disciplines. On 28 May 2024 at 10-11am CEST, Frontiers Policy Labs is hosting a webinar Powering academic freedom – Essential insights for policy makers to explore why Academic Freedom matters, including its influence on societal development, and what can be down to tackle threats to this freedom.
